HiperPFS™-3 デバイス ファミリーでは、連続動作モード (CCM) 昇圧 PFC コントローラ、ゲート ドライバ、超低速リバース リカバリー ダイオード、高耐圧パワー MOSFET を内蔵し、コンパクトでヒートシンクの取り付けが可能なパッケージです。HiperPFS-3 ファミリーの特長は、負荷 20%、高入力電圧時の力率を 0.92 以上に増加させるデジタル エンハンサー、60 mW 以下の無負荷時消費電力を達成する画期的な "軽負荷" 動作モードです。

HiperPFS-3 ファミリーの可変周波数連続動作モードでは、平均スイッチング周波数を下げて周波数変調によりピーク EMI を抑制することで、損失を最小限に抑えます。HiperPFS-3 を使用することによって、コンバータの Xコンデンサ と Y コンデンサの全体容量および、昇圧用インダクタと EMI ノイズ用インダクタの両方のインダクタンスを最小化することが出来るため、全体的なシステムのサイズとコストを抑えることができます。

HiperPFS-3 デバイスでは、外付け部品点数を最小化することにより、基板スペース、システム BOM コストを削減し、センス抵抗における電力損失を抑えることができます。
